Nanobond Project

Nanomaterials in the remediation and dewatering of contaminated marine and river sediments

The core of the NANOBOND project is the design of nanosponges produced from cellulose recovered from waste paper that act as geotextile drainage membranes.

These membranes, true nanostructured "sponges," are designed to efficiently absorb pollutants and sediments in water bodies, enabling advanced and sustainable dredging.

The Nanobond project represents an important step forward in the field of contaminated water treatment and the use of nanotechnology in remediation, and Bartoli spa is proud to have participated in the success of this initiative.

Looking to the future, we hope that these innovative technologies can contribute significantly to the preservation of aquatic ecosystems and the creation of a healthier and more sustainable environment for future generations.
